#16. Round Spring

Round Spring is very unique. The spring water meets the surface within a round chamber before disappearing underground and re-emerging further down the spring branch. Many many years ago the roof of the cavern system collapsed forming a natural bridge that the water flows under. The spring has an outflow of 33 million gallons of water a day. During extreme rainfall the spring can fill up in the chamber and waterfall over the top. A large cavern is located nearby that is open for tours during the summer months.
