Rock Bridge State Park

Rock Bridge State Park is located just outside of Columbia Missouri. It has many karst features such as caves, sinkholes, springs, and a natural bridge. Trails: Deer Run Trail - 3.8 miles, Devil's Icebox Trail - 0.5 miles, Gans Creek Wildlife Area Trail - 6.6 miles, Grassland Trail - 1.9 miles, High Ridge Trail - 1.7 miles, Karst Trail - 1.9 miles, Sinkhole Trail - 1.4 miles, Spring Brook Trail - 3.0 miles. More trail info here. Recreation: Playground, equestrian trails, group camping (not open to general public), and interpretive programs available. Check website for more info. Other Info: The area is 2,273 acres and was established in 1967. In 1834 the first papermill west of the Mississippi was built here to harness the power of the spring. There are 12 caves located within the park.
