Montauk State Park

Montauk State Park is a popular trout fishing destination located at the headwaters of the Current River. The multiple springs in the park fuel the cold river that allows trout to thrive in this location. Trails: Montauk Lake Trail (0.8 miles, easy rating), Paved Bicycle Trail (0.1 miles, rated easy), Pine Ridge Trail (1.4 miles, rugged) Recreation: Trout fishing information on the state park website here. Camping: Montauk State Park boasts 154 total campsites for both tents and RVs. Many cabins are also available for overnight stays.
