Marble Creek and Crane Lake

Marble Creek and Crane Lake are connected by the 9 mile long Marble Creek Section of the Ozark Trail. Marble Creek: Marble Creek is home to a seasonal US Forest Service campground. The shut-in at Marble Creek is a popular location to swim in the summertime. There are no trails located here other than the Ozark Trail. There are a total of 4 shut-ins located along Marble Creek. Crane Lake: The highlight of Crane Lake isn't the lake itself; it's the large shut-in that is located right off of the dam. The Ozark Trail runs right alongside this shut-in and is the best method to access it. The shut-in features huge canyon walls that stretch over 100ft high and offer huge cascade waterfalls.
