Upper Stouts Creek Shut-In
Upper Stouts Creek Shut-In is located on the outside of Arcadia Valley just outside of Ironton. It is best visited during the rainy season, when the water is blue and flowing well. It is quite impressive for it's size, boasting lots of cascades and rapids. A dam was built at the head of the shut-in but it has since been breached and is no longer holding back water. This shut-in is the first of about 3-4 located on Stouts Creek.
