Silver Mines Shut-In
Silver Mines Shut-In is located along the St. Francis River at SIlver Mines Recreation Area. The shut-in features many large outcroppings of rock and impressive rock formations alongside of the Silver Mines Trail. The outcroppings form wide cascades along the river that make for a popular whitewater kayaking destination during high water. There is a dam located at the head of the shut-in which can be crossed during low water.
