Rockpile Mountain Shut-In
Rockpile Mountain Shut-In is located on Rockpile Mountain within Rockpile Mountain Wilderness. There is a trail that reaches the shut-in, although the back half is not maintained.The shut-in runs through and down a narrow gorge with shorter walls. The water runs over various areas of smooth rhyolitic bedrock before reaching a deep plunge pool at the end. The creek then runs in the St. Francis River.
