Pickle Creek Shut-In
This shut-in is located within Hawn State Park. It can be viewed alongside the Pickle Creek Trail. The shut-in is the location of what may be the only exposed metamorphic rock in the state, gneiss. High above the shut-in are the occasional sandstone bluffs. Over the years the creek has built up large sand deposits which have settled within the cracks within the rocks.
