Lee Bluff Shut-In/Fish Trap Shut-In

This large shut-in is located on the St. Francis River. It runs between multipl high bluffs including Lee Bluff. The shut-in throws up class II-III whitewater rapids during high water and completely disappears underwater. The large valley is extremely remote (by Missouri standards). There is not much known about where the name "Fish Trap" came from. There are many Bald Eagles that call the valley home that probably thrive from the Fish Trap.
