Eleven Point National Wild and Scenic River
The Eleven Point River was dedicated as a National Wild and Scenic River in 1968 and protects 44 miles of the river. The waterway includes many large springs, including the second largest in the Ozarks, Greer Spring.

The river is home to many springs including Missouri's second largest, Greer Spring, Missouri's eleventh largest, Blue Spring, Turner's Mill Spring, Boze Mill Spring, and plenty of others. The name "Eleven Point" came from the French word "Pointe" which was used to indicate a sharp turn in a river.
